Why Personal Training?
It does not matter if you want to lose weight, build lean muscle, or simply want to live a healthier life; a professional personal training program created specifically with you and your needs in mind will take you as far as you want to go.
As a personal trainer I help you define, set and succeed at your specific goals. My job is to motivate, provide direction and give you the tools you need to make lifelong changes. I provide support and advice on issues such as overall fitness, nutrition, and general wellness.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A GOOD PERSONAL TRAINER?
Every trainer is different, however there are a few things you should expect from someone who has your best interests at heart.
Individualized training programs – a trainer that has a one-size fits all approach is going to care more about him/her bottom line, than you best for you to reach your goals.
Coaching for proper form and technique – not only does this prevent injury, it helps you to maximize the work you are putting into every move.
A variety of workouts- we combine kickboxing, TRX, HIIT, mobility and strength training workouts for a full-range exercises. You will never have the same workout twice.
What occurs during our initial meeting?
Your first meeting with me is extremely important, so come prepared to be open and honest. The meeting will take approximately 60 minutes and will consist of me getting to know you, in terms of your health and wellness goals, your exercise history, as well as your likes and dislikes.
I will then administer a variety of wellness assessments. These assessments are used to establish a baseline for progress for future evaluation. Assessments are also used to gauge your current level of fitness, which will assist me in creating your individualized program. Some of these evaluations include body composition, postural assessments, and/or a strength and flexibility testing.
Small Group Training
If you are looking for personal training, but can’t afford individual training, just get 1-3 friends and you can have what is known as Small Group Training. You get individualized attention, but share the cost between 4 people.
Each Small Group Training (SGT) session is structured to maximize fitness training and to minimize any potential injury. SGT’s are unquestionably the best way to provide the ultimate results in strengthening and toning, weight loss, and building endurance with friends.
